The Greater London Authority (GLA) is currently working to coordinate and strengthen the Mayor’s work to protect the rights of migrant workers in London, who are particularly at risk of experiencing abuse and exploitation at work

As part of this work, the GLA has commissioned this research to gain an understanding of the support and advice services on offer to migrant workers in London, and consequently develop a strategy to improve access to these services for migrant workers experiencing abuse and exploitation in London.

This research is being delivered by The Young Foundation, an independent research agency, in collaboration with Focus on Labour Exploitation (FLEX), a charity dedicated to ending labour exploitation.

How can I contribute?

As part of the research, we are interested in hearing from anyone involved in providing support and advice to migrant workers in London. This survey will cover the scale and nature of employment rights advice and support for migrants in London, as well as the types of demand seen.

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete, and you have until Friday the 10th of February to do so.

It would also be appreciated if you could share this survey with your colleagues and networks who might be relevant.

How will my responses be used and stored?

Your responses will only be used for research purposes or to contact you in line with the permissions you provide at the end of the survey. Data will be reported in aggregate, and you will not be identifiable in any report or outputs.

All information collected will be stored securely by The Young Foundation for the duration of the research project. Personal data is kept and destroyed in line with The Young Foundation’s Privacy Policy.

If you have any queries about the research or your data, please contact research@youngfoundation.org.

Thank you for taking the time to share your expertise in this survey.
